For 85 years and counting Batman has been one of the most popular American comic book characters of all time. The very first Batman comic book which sold for just 10 cents in 1939 is currently worth over $2 million in 2024.
As several cultural anthropologists versed in American pop culture have pointed out, your favorite comic book characters are usually grafted from the deities of ancient mythology, and culled from the personages of world history and indigenous folklore. Batman is no different.
He is the alter ego of Bruce Wayne, a nobleman who is emotionally wounded by the gruesome murder of his parents. His guardians are gunned down like pigs by a petty criminal right before his eyes. As Wayne grows into adulthood, he vows to rid Gotham City’s streets of crime as the “caped crusader,” Batman. However, what may not be so obvious to loyal fans and casual film watchers alike is the fact that Batman is actually a distinguished Moorish nobleman in white face.
In the comic book, Batman the “Dark Knight” does his crime fighting work in Gotham City, but “Gotham” is another name for New York City. In order for there to be a “New York” then there must be an “Old York.” It does exist and it’s located in England.
In New York there is an Essex County. There is also a town of Essex in England. The flag for the English town of Essex consists of three Moorish scimitars with a red background as seen below. The scimitar is not a sword that was used by the English, but it was used by Moors who set up shop in the area many centuries ago.
One of the noble families of Essex was the Morfyn (Moor Fyn) family. The Morfyn family crest features a black woman with bat wings sprouting from both sides of her head. Many say that it’s a Black man. I now say that it’s a woman. What do you say?
Just as Batman’s life was defined by a crime committed against his parents, the modern day descendents of Moors have been grappling with the crimes committed against their ancestors who were driven out of European countries such as Ireland (why do Irish people and Jamaicans sound so much alike?), Spain, Portugal, England and France and into parts of North Africa, the Caribbean, and South America.
In 1901 archeologists discovered the Ivory Bangled Lady of York, England in a jeweled sarcophagus dating back to the 4th century C.E. when England was a province of Rome. This Black woman is believed to have been a Roman aristocrat with North African ancestry.
The name “England” is said to mean “Land of Angles” in old English. An ANGLE geometrically appears at the intersection of two straight lines. Meanwhile, an ANGEL esoterically appears at the inersection of the objective and subjective planes of our shared reality.
Within the word “Angel” is the word “El.” Also all of the angelic beings have the name “El” in their names (RaphaEL, MichaEL, GabriEL, UriEL etc). The Levantine title of “El” is related to the old Sumerian title of “En” which means “Lord.” Hence England was one of the locales where the Lords of the Glands resided. This gland is the Third Eye which gives the wise sight beyond sight.
As an animal totem, the bat generally represents the ability to see people and things for who and what they are on a psychic level and not what they appear to be. This is a spiritually cultivated sense of instinct that is fed by a heightened sense of intuition as a Lord of the Gland.
Mighty morphin power rangers. That’s what came to mind as soon as I seen “morfyn” but anyways this is a gem as usual God
