Corporate Vanity Spells of Hathor Winter
How a Scandinavian pharmaceutical company is making billions gorilla pimping the signifier of Lady Hathor
Novo Nordisk (The New Nordic) is a Scandinavian pharmaceutical company that was founded on the Winter Solstice of 1923.
According to their own website they are funding research in nanotechnology and genetic engineering for human medicine.
Although based in Denmark, Novo Nordisk is a global provider of drugs, most notably, Ozempic which has generated $3.9 billion for the company in the first three months of 2024 alone.
Ozempic is an anti-diabetic drug that generally results in weight loss for users. People who misuse alcohol tend to struggle with diabetes, so the alcohol and pharmaceutical industries are clearly playing ping-pong with people’s wallets.
Both Drake and Kendrick Lamar name-dropped Ozempic in their diss songs towards each other that got millions of music streams across the globe over the last few weeks.
So many of people, especially celebrities, want to look fit and trim in a social media era that places external pressure on them to maintain a “good” physical appearance. The pressure is often a reflection of human vanity and Ozempic is being misused for vain off-label purposes.
It’s worth noting that the logo for parent company Novo Nordisk is the image of what could either be the ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) bull of Apis or the goddess Het-Heru. I’m inclined to believe it’s the latter.
In ancient Kemet the goddess Het-Heru (Hathor) is synonymous with physical health and beauty which are in alignment with the characteristics that a pharmaceutical company would want to project to potential consumers to maximize drug deals.
Ozempic is turning heads in the advertising sphere based on the jingle used to promote the drug. It’s literally a reworking of the 1970s hit “Magic” which was recorded by the rock band Pilot.
Clearly, this is an inside joke because the modern pharmaceutical industry has undeniable roots in indigenous modalities of sorcery. We know this because the English word “Pharmacy” comes from the Greek word “Pharmakeia” which literally means “sorcery” or “witchcraft.” Ozempic users pick up their drug in a pharmacy.
It explains why you’d even have a drug store chain known as “Rite Aid.” A rite is an act of ritual, and this ritual is performed by the priestly pharmacologist who prepares the RX prescribed by your local pharmacist at the Western man’s botanica known as a drug store. Let’s not allow ourselves to be bewitched.
Transnational coprorations often cloak themselves in indigenous imagery to give power to their intentions. The Nike swoosh and the Apple logo are just a couple of examples.
The ancient past is the future, so as a Futurist I highlight ancient themes to inspire and stimulate the imagination of tomorrow’s creators to apply art, science, engneering and technology that serves the human family from now to infinity.
COLD BUSINESS!!!
