Let’s address the real Ganesh in the room.

A lot of women feel that they are sick and tired of patriarchy. This is because many of them do not have the historical context, or the lexicon of terms, to decode their personal experiences.

They’re fed up with what WHITE MALE WESTERN CIVILIZATION has meant for them for the last 2,000 plus years.

They should be.

However, a lot of white women are calling the culture of oppression that they know so well, “patriarchy,” as a linguistic slight-of-hand to divert everyone away from the real issue that’s literally, and figuratively, been beating them over the head for as long as they’ve existed on the planet.
