Natural Medicine & The Science of Stellar Correspondences
So many say "As Above, So Below" but they focus exclusively on the sky while ignoring the constellations growing under their feet
Ghanaian medicine man circa 1899.
Astrologers read the stars. Spiritual medicine men and women read them as well. However, they also go a step further.
They rearrange the placements of the stars in the heavens by actively working through the universal principle of “As Above, so Below.” This familiar maxim also implies that as below, so above!
In observing the Western astrological symbol for the retrograde periods we see that they use the familiar “RX” symbol that is also utilized by the modern pharmaceutical industry which has undeniable roots in indigenous modalities of sorcery. We know this because the English word “Pharmacy” comes from the Greek word “Pharmakeia” which literally means “sorcery” or “witchcraft.”
Don’t believe me. Look up the etymology of the word for yourself.
It explains why you’d even have a drug store chain known as “Rite Aid.” A rite is an act of ritual, and this ritual is performed by the priestly pharmacologist who prepares the RX prescribed by your local pharmacist at the Western man’s botanica known as a drug store.
The Western pharmaceutical industry is entirely based on sorcery. Five years ago engineers at MIT were working on producing antibiotic drugs out of wasp venom. However, when African or American Indian medicine men engage in similar medicinal applications they are called “primitive” because they have not traded in their feathered crowns and animal skins for white lab coats. The presumption is that Western man is the only man who practices the Scientific Method.
Now the irony in all of this is that according to Black’s Law Dictionary the original definition for “primitive” is “first in order; bearing its own authority, and not deriving authority from an outside source.” I’d say that being primitive is one of the best things we can aspire to be.
The modern pharmaceutical industry is the cooptation and degradation of indigenous people’s spiritual sciences, which include the science of botony, zoology, and the stellar bodies—which are all used to facilitate working relationships between man and himself, man and his community, and man and his natural environment (ecosystem).
When a person purchases “RX” (medicine) from their local pharmacy, they are literally buying chemical combinations that mirror planetary retrogrades that reverse internal symptoms that are expressions of sickness. The word “Retrograde” doesn’t mean to move in reverse. It means to APPEAR to move in reverse. RX in the form of prescription drugs don’t cure diseases. They only APPEAR to cure them by reversing the SYMPTOMS of the disease.
The actual disease is spiritual (e.g. guilt, unresolved childhood traumas). Drugs put the disease in a retrograde progression, but it doesn’t heal the root cause of the disease. It only retards the disease’s ability to communicate (Mercury is communication) to you what it is through discomfort and deteriorations in your body.
Mercury in Retrograde might be a good time to work on ridding yourself of the symptoms of a personal disease so that you can begin to address the bigger task of healing from it.
Removing the disease at its root involves Dark Side Therapy. You have to come to grips with your dark side and all of its ugliness (and its hidden strengths!!!) and use that darkness as an obedient servant for the real you who is buried underneath guilt, fear, and shame. You can’t kill your dark side. You can only get it to serve you instead of allowing it to be your master.
An authentic spiritual medicine man or woman will tell you that they cannot completely solve your spiritual problems. At best, they can only prescribe medicines that buy you more time by temporarily muting the major symptoms of your spiritual illness.

This sums up the great work of art that you created here. I love the break down of the entomological origins of the word 'pharmacy'. Pharmacy is definitely sorcery because the pharmacist perform rituals on the masses with the medicine that they provide - whether it be either good or bad. However, as you brilliantly indicated, the retrograde (RX) medicine that the pharmacist provides won't reverse any internal disease that anyone may have. As you know, most people are too terrified of their dark side because they sheepishly associate it with evil. When in actuality, the dark side or shadow work - if handled and assessed accordingly - can become the most powerful archetypal force of anyone.
This is the ultimate secret of human psychology, which is something that the medicine man can never sell you or prescribe to you. In the end, I'm happy that I partook in the 'primitive pharmaceutical elixir' that you provided here. You definitely didn't need the synthetics of a Western 'lab coat' to concoct this. Thanks for sharing with us another master piece. I hope the readers receive the gems like I have and continue to do the shadow work. Salute brother.
As always, profound insight, sound research, clear communication & definitely inspirational. Thank you for your gift. 🙏🏾
