A Brief Revist of Saint Maurice, Nazi Germany and the Holy Roman Empire's Glaciers of Ice

Yes, Adolf Hitler was in hot pursuit of the Spear of Destiny, which he believed would give him the occult power to institute a Third Reich (which really didn’t exist once you understand that a “Reich” is an empire).

However, the Spear of Destiny originally belonged to Saint Maurice, who was the patron saint of the Holy Roman Empire, also known as the First Reich.

The Holy Lance belonging to the Aryan soldier in the Roman army known as Longinus is a made up entity conjured from the imagination of European Christians. The only figure said to hold the spear that is historically verifiable, is Saint Maurice.

He was the Egyptian commander of a Roman battalion who was put to death in 286 C.E. for not snitching on his African brothers and refusing to worship the Roman god, Jupiter.

Maurice is depicted in posthumous paintings wearing striking armor with a subtle pendent for the Order of the Golden Fleece over his sternum. The pendent features a ram hanging from a noose around its waist very similar to the Brooks Brothers logo. In addition to being a chivalric order going back to the 15^th century, the Golden Fleece is the highest Honors Society at the University of North Carolina, home of the UNC Tar Heels. You also have the Order of Saint Maurice founded in the 15th centruy.
