The Liberal Conservitism of the Traditional African Social Scientist
African culture is so colorful that folks can’t see that it’s also very conservative. This is because in the West conservative means “old” “white” and “boring.” Let’s examine African Social Science.
A scar is the mark that remains from an old wound. The descendants of incarcerated scarfaces are escaping the dungeons of mental death that inhibit personal growth and obscure true understanding of curious worlds that appear just beyond reach.
In this article we will briefly explore the intrinsic conservatism of African social science in stark contrast to the liberal values being pushed within anti-family, pro-individualist, Godless social structures. We will also look at how the classical conservatism of the old world is offset by a healthy measure of liberalism to ensure that the culture is never static. Stasis brings about cultural death from social rigidity.
